HAMLET

THE ALGONQUIN CAT

Written by Leslie Martini & Illustrated by Massimo Mongiardo

A street cat is swept up into a glamorous life at the historic Algonquin Hotel in New York City, a well-known gathering place for writers, editors, and artists. With his predecessor Matilda as his guide, the scrappy Hamlet must learn the ropes of his luxurious new home. But will this stray cat take to life indoors? Hamlet seeks guidance from the writers of the famous Algonquin Round Table, where voices from the past help him find the courage to take his rightful place as king.

For those whose imaginations were captured by The Plaza's Eloise, they will find her feline counterpart in Hamlet: The Algonquin Cat.
